Figurative sculptor in bronze.

An English figurative sculptor about whom little is known.

He executed sculpture commissions for the Architectural Department of British Rail, including Locomotion, outside Scot Rail House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow (1966-7).

His work in England includes a statue of St Christopher on Northampton Station, and a relief on the town's Tannery Buildings.

Cossell lived at Herne Bay, Kent.
