Glasgow - City of Sculpture
By Gary Nisbet
Caroline Wallace
(fl. 1988)

Sculptor in bronze. Her only recorded public work in Glasgow is the Metalworkers Sculpture in the Parkhead Forge Shopping Centre (1988).

The sculpture recalls the area's connection with Beardmore's Foundry, which stood on the site until the 1970s.

A figure group, it depicts a blacksmith hammering a horseshoe on an anvil, with his dog looking on.
