Stephen Skrynka
(b. 1962)

Born in London, he studied at Manchester University and Glasgow University, 1983-91.

Living and working in Scotland since 1989, his work in Glasgow includes an installation utilising radiator parts at 187 Old Rutherglen Road, and Borrowed Light, a series of pavement installations rehabilitating basement skylights at various locations in the city centre, e.g., 140 Sauchiehall Street, in collaboration with Peter McCaughey (1990).

His recent work includes Clyde Tunnel and The Bartered Ride (2001).
